The Nikon 35mm f2 Nikkor is a classic wide angle lens with the added benefit of having a very fast f2.0 maximum aperture. This fast aperture allows the Nikkor 35mm f2 to excel in lowlight conditions or generate shallow depths of field. The 35mm focal length is a handy modestly wide focal length that can replace the standard 50mm lens quite easily. This lens has a 52mm filter thread.
This model is a Non-AI lens, which means it's designed to work with cameras without the AI tab. These include models such as the Nikon F, certain F2 bodies, some Nikkormats, and certain digital cameras.
